Bowerbird Home is a multinational online e-commerce store & interior design specialist based in Hong Kong. They offer luxury furniture & homeware pieces sourced from around the globe to Hong Kong customers.
Creative Brand Design worked with the Bowerbird team from its’ very inception, to create an enterprise-level e-commerce website using Magento. Bowerbird required a fully-fledged online selling platform that synced stock & orders with their POS system, and that was attractive & minimalist to complement their luxury furniture pieces. Following the website development Creative Brand Design continued to work with Bowerbird to maintain & support the site, as well as providing fast & reliable web hosting.
Bowerbird Home use a bespoke POS system to manage their product stock & customer orders. Creative Brand Design coded an integration for the POS into Magento, allowing for the website to pull product data straight to the site in real-time, and send orders back to the POS to be dealt with by the Bowerbird team.
This seamless, enterprise-level operation ensures that no time is wasted on manual product & stock updates, and that orders can be verified & shipped quickly.

Creative Brand Design designed & developed a fully responsive solution that contrasted the Bowerbird colours with ample clear, white space, resulting in a clean & minimalist site that is a pleasure for customers to navigate, even on mobile devices. The site also uses a currency switcher to further improve the usability for international customers.
As part of the Bowerbird Home website build, Creative Brand Design also provide managed web hosting. The website is hosting on our dedicated web server, meaning that it is both fast & secure, with very little chance of ‘going down’.
Our server management systems allow us to monitor the server status in real-time and prevent any downtime, as well as stopping any hacking attempts at source before they can compromise the website. Despite being based in Hong Kong, Bowerbird have been delighted with the performance & peace of mind that our hosting solution offers.
Bowerbird Home were extremely pleased with their website and saw an immediate increase in sales on launch. The POS integration makes it effortless for them to update their stock & amend product details, without having to resort to complicated code or manual input. They have also been able to process orders much more quickly thanks to Magento sending them straight to the POS.
The website, like all Creative Brand Design sites, is 100% responsive and functions just as the user would expect across all devices, including phones & tablets – ensuring that no users will be turned away by a buggy or unattractive system. The clean layout & design make it easy for customers to find what they are looking for with only a few clicks.
