Vitamin Buddy is a vitamin subscription service that provides personalised daily vitamin plans for visitors to the site.
Vitamin Buddy approached us with a site that was built on a website builder, and therefore restricted in terms of functionality and expandability. Finding themselves needing more from their quiz system, they came to Creative Brand Design for a redesign with a focus on growing the functionality of their website.
The website is based around a quiz that uses questions based on health & lifestyle to gauge recommended vitamins for the individual. The user is then given the option to mix and match before buying into a subscription plan.
The new quiz system allows values to be assigned to question sets and categories, by calculating the final value of the tried question sets, the quiz system is able to automatically recommend the most appropriate vitamin solution to the user via the results given.
We designed the new site bespokely in Photoshop prior to development to deliver a unique design with user experience at the forefront.
The website was developed on a custom built theme on the WordPress CMS to allow for the extra flexibility and scalability of features and payment/subscription automation. This allowed us to automate subscription charges and expand on the functionality of the quiz to fit the unique client requirements.
The new site is built on a lightweight scalable system and uses canvas and JS effects to boost interactivity and engage users. The site is a full e-commerce solution with drop shipping coded in via API, which automatically sends orders to a fulfillment company.

As well as value given and categorised question sets, there are logical elimination questions, such as dietary requirements etc. The logic of the updated questionnaire/quiz system is customisable, allowing questions, sets, & categories to be amended and added to, as well as allowing for different questionnaires to be added.
This new system both alleviates the manual intervention that was previously required to marry up end users to recommended vitamins, and provides a great user experience for customers
