Ionian Weddings is an award-winning specialist consultancy for weddings in the Mediterranean established by Jane Stuart-Palikira and Andreas Palikiras. Specialising in weddings held exclusively in the Mediterranean.
Ionian weddings came to us with a partially finished website build with flaws in design and user interface/ experience, as well as errors in content and alignment. They required a complete over haul of the front end of the site before launch, with a focus on growing the functionality of their website, as well as ongoing support to evolve their complex online booking system.
After thorough investigation into the functionality of the website and accompanying database and integration points we decided that the best solution was for the website to be migrated to and developed on a WordPress CMS, due to its intuitive usability, which would allow for easier modification of pages and continued future expansion of functionality.
We addressed the flaws and weak points in design bringing it up to required usability standards which were applied throughout the website. We were also able to further develop key areas of the site, such as custom-made questionnaires, reservation forms and integration with booking.com.
Creative Brand Design have developed a beautiful website with intuitive UX for the front-end user. The structure of the site now appeals to their target market of young British couples wanting to get married abroad and provides all of the necessary attributes and functions to allow users to browse for and book their destination wedding.
The user-friendly back end allows the client to manage and update their website with ease.
We continue to work closely with Ionian Weddings, on regular updates and improvements to their website as well as developing a bespoke portal system for bookings, allowing them to further streamline their business model.
